We are impressed by your feedback to our first announcement of a European TG-meeting in Vienna. We did not dare to expect that so many TGs are interested in political work and interaction on an Europe-wide level: By now we have got response from about 35 organizations in 21 countries all over Europe. And still the flow of new applications wouldn't stop.
Obviously TG-rights should be discussed on an international level now. Clear directives from the European Union would be valuable to adjust national laws as long as fundamental TG-rights are still mistreated in many countries. However, when we announced the network-meeting, we thought of Europe in geographical terms and not limited to the European Union. European TGs from Non-EU-Countries are warmly welcome.
It's our task to give some stimulus for a better future for TVs and TSs. We are currently planning and organizing the framework for the meeting. It is work in progress and we hope you understand that it takes its time.
